This device is being loaned to the student for educational purposes and should be used in that capacity. When taking home technology, students agree to abide by the Erie 1 BOCES Acceptable Use Policy (accessible online) and Code of Conduct regulations as outlined in the Student Handbook. Students are also expected to abide by all applicable laws governing responsible and safe use of the internet.
All technology is the property of Erie 1 BOCES. Erie 1 BOCES reserves the right to demand the immediate return of the device at any time. Technology should only be used by the student to whom the device is issued.
Participation in this program is voluntary; the student may participate in electronic schoolwork on a different device. Parents/Guardians are expected to monitor student use of the device and internet activities. It is expected that the device be returned in the same condition as on the date it was loaned out (reasonable wear and tear expected).
We agree to the guidelines and procedures outlined in this form. We understand that in the event of theft, misuse, or carelessness, there is no provision for a replacement. We understand that if loss or damage occurs while the device is in our possession, we are expected to report this immediately to the building principal, and in case of theft, we are required to file an official police report and provide a copy of this report to the principal.
